Preparation is the same loop as the rest of the game: upgrade the base, recruit troops, unlock infantry, tanks, artillery, helicopters and more, then send that army to objectives. Alerts tell you the fight has started and what it is hitting. The lines below were captured in recorded play. They are not a promise that every future event uses the same sentence.
Read the target first
| Alert | Target | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Commander, our base is under attack | Your base | Defend the outpost |
| Enemy forces are hitting our position | Your position | Treat it as pressure on ground you hold |
| Hostiles at the wire. Defend the base | Your base | The line itself says to defend |
| One of our points is under attack | A captured point | Contest that objective before it flips |
| Enemy armor sighted | Enemy ground armor | The push includes armor, not only infantry |
| Enemy aircraft | Enemy air | The push includes air units |
| Vehicle down | One of your vehicles | A unit loss, not a point loss |
| We just lost a vehicle | One of your vehicles | Same vehicle loss |
| We've lost a point, commander | A captured point | The objective flipped |
| We've lost the point, commander | A captured point | The objective flipped |
| The objective is lost | A captured point | The objective flipped |
| Point secured | An objective you took | Success, not an alert |
| Objective taken. Good work, commander. | An objective you took | Success, not an alert |
While the alert is playing
- Name the target from the words. Our base and at the wire are the outpost. One of our points is a map objective you already took.
- Note armor versus aircraft when those lines play. The session used them as separate callouts, so they are different threat domains. It did not publish a counter for each one.
- Keep cash moving if you can do it without abandoning the target. In the recorded defense, players kept pumping oil through a wave, heard Upgrade complete during the fighting, and still lost vehicles. The spoken cash in that stretch was roughly 5,000 to 8,000, and a 15,000 spend was announced. Those are session figures, not a rule that you must hold 15,000.
- Replace a vehicle loss and retake a point loss as different jobs. A destroyed vehicle is a hole in the force. A lost point is map ground, including oil ground if you were pumping there.
Do not send every unit away from the base when a base line is already playing. The outpost is the tycoon. A point can be retaken. The capture guide is the retake. The income guide is why a held point is worth defending.
What the alerts do not say
The session did not call infantry, tanks, artillery, or helicopters by those names. Enemy armor sighted is not a named tank model. Enemy aircraft is not a named jet. No control scheme for giving attack orders was captured, so this page does not invent a button. If a new line plays that is not in the table, trust the nouns in that line over this list.
